As an Assistant Finance Officer, you will support our finance team in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring efficient payment of supplier invoices, assisting with end-of-month processes, and providing essential administrative support.

Key Duties

• Support the finance team with processing accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Process payment of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with end of month processes and reconciliations.
• Provide administrative support as required.

The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate

• An ability to support outcomes for First Nations people and communicate sensitively and effectively.
• An understanding of basic accounting principles and their practical applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to build positive relationships with suppliers.

Eligibility

• Be an Australian Citizen.
• Undergo a Satisfactory National Criminal History Check (prior to engagement).
• Meet Fitness for Duty requirements (prior to engagement).
• Hold a formal qualification and/or have experience in Finance or a Business field.
